Measles: Identification and public health management

Due to an increasing number of outbreaks in Queensland, Queensland Health has issued the following advice to raise awareness of measles and the appropriate public health management.

Transmission of measles in a health care setting is not uncommon and has resulted in health care staff becoming infected in some instances.

Queensland Health has resources available to assist health care staff to recognise and manage potential measles cases.

These resources include:
