Solomon Island Project

Students from the Bundaberg Special School, in conjunction with clients from Community Lifestyle Support Inc., are wishing to travel to Solomon Islands to visit the Special School in Honiara and to assist in its recovery from the tsunami. The students are seeking support and donations to help sponsor their trip, as well as to provide much needed resources and equipment for the Special Development Centre in Honiara. The trip is proposed for one week in September, the exact date is yet to be determined. It is hoped that GPs may volunteer to accompany the children from the Special School and be available to assist the community in the Honiara Special Development Centre while they are visiting.
