Post Adoption Support Queensland

Post Adoption Support Queensland is seeking to inform GP’s, mental health professionals and other health and welfare workers of the training and adoptions connections meeting on 29 March in Maryborough. The training for practitioners is entitled ‘Understanding how adoption may affect your clients’. Please find attached a flyer and registration form for this training.

Also attached is a flyer advertising the ‘Adoption Connections Meeting’ that will be held at the Maryborough Library in the evening of the same day, for any clients you may be currently working with who are directly affected by adoption. They may be a birth parent, adoptee or an adoptive parent. In addition to this Connection Meeting, the PASQ team will be available to provide some face-to-face counselling opportunities for these clients also. Could you please phone to discuss any referrals you have for clients you think would benefit from this type of counselling support and we will book an appointment for them.
