This Free PEPA workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to:
  • Understand the constructs of Indigenous people’s culture
  • Identify Indigenous cultural perspectives of disease, illness and dying
  • Examine communication styles that make a difference in the approaches of palliative care
  • Understand cultural beliefs relating to healing, traditions and spirituality, and an integrative approach in palliative care
