- Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education was established by Queensland Health in 2001 to enhance palliative care services in Queensland through education and research endeavours.

- Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach program provides health professionals an ideal opportunity to learn from experienced specialist staff to enhance skills, knowledge and experience in the palliative approach.
