What does the Clinic offer?
The Clinic provides free, confidential testing and treatment (if required) of sexually transmissable infections. It also provides information and advice on sexual health.
This includes:
- sexual health checks - testing and treatment
- safe sex education - information and advice
- HIV support and management clinics
- monthly PAP smear clinc
- Hepatitis C support nad referral
- male and female indigenous health workers
Appointments are preferred as this allows enough time for each person accessing the Clinic. Please call 4150 2754 to make an appointment.
The clinic is open:
- Monday: 8.30am to 3.00pm
- Tuesday: 8.30am to 5.00pm
- Wednesday 8.30am to 5.00pm
- Thursday 9.00am to 6.00pm
To ensure confidentiality and accurate interpretation of tests, results are given only to you. To obtain these results you will be asked to return to the clinic.
Hervey Bay
An outreach clinic to Hervey Bay Hospital Outpatients is conducted weekly on a Thursday morning between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
